We traveled to Missouri to breed with the male, Grand Champion Benbarons Vinnie of Eddie, who we felt would be the best father because of his body style, the family of champions he comes from, and, hey, he's a gorgeous dog. She needs to go to an experienced show home, or to a home that will co-own with me, and allow me to take her to the dog shows myself. I will cover all show expenses, and would participate in the training.** Our litter of 9 (yes 9!) was born on September 27, 2012. There are 6 males and 3 females. Several of these babies are considered of a quality to be in the conformation show ring, and we sincerely hope they will be shown to continue the family legacy of championship dogs. However, ALL of these dogs are first and foremost family dogs, bred for soundness and good temperament. Please check out each page to see pictures of the puppies as they have grown. Raised With Care
From the first, these puppies have been raised with constant attention and monitoring. Handled daily, every feeding, 3-4 hours apart for the first 3 weeks, is supervised to make sure they all get enough to eat and are on track with their development. Premium food is given when they are weaned, specifically formulated for large breed puppies. Each puppy has a different color ribbon for a collar so we can tell them apart and make sure to keep accurate records of weight and such. That color is their name for now. They are stimulated using the guidelines from the Bio Sensor, or "Super Dog" testing to make sure they have early neurological development that results in an increased capacity that later in life will make a positive difference in the dog's performance in different situations. The timing of new experiences - being away from Mom and the litter, riding in a car, learning what toys are for, experiences on different flooring and playing/bonding with humans, is critical to a positive socialization and a well adjusted family member. They have been exposed to all these different situations, as well as others, to give them confidence and reduce the chance of them getting frightened by new events later.
All puppies are sold with a contract that include a health guarantee. Puppies that will not be shown are asked to be altered. We also ask that if at any time one of our dogs can no longer be kept in the home, it will be returned to us to avoid going to a shelter or rescue. These puppies have all been examined by a vet, have had their dewclaws removed, have been de-wormed, are microchipped and will have had their first shots prior to going home. Payments will be accepted with deposit. To reserve your puppy, a $400 deposit will be taken to hold until of age or pick up date.. The asking price is $1,200.00.
9/29/12 - 2 days old for their first check up. All healthy and at good weight.
9/31/12 - 5 days old their dewclaws were removed.
10/18/12 - 3 weeks old the puppies were started on food. Ground up kibble with hot water soaked until it became mush, so easy to learn to eat. Fresh water is now down at all times.
11/4/12 - 5 weeks and the girls led the way up the basement stairs, but everyone came up at least partway. They are now kept in the kitchen, so they can head right outside in good weather and play to their heart's content - or until exhausted.
11/11/12 - 6 weeks into the vet to be de-wormed.
11/18/12 - 7 weeks into the vet for first puppy shots.
